Years Stuck in Bed

Erika spent years laid up in bed sick. In addition to her weight issue (her highest weight was 259 pounds), she also had other health complications that were made worse by not taking the best care of herself.
After going on her health journey and losing the weight, she felt so much better (both mentally and physically), she left writing to share her message with the world and help as many people as she can who are going through the same and want help.

FROM Sick in Bed to Miss NC USA

Erika's health journey went so well, she even competed in the 2024 Miss North Carolina USA pageant as Miss Wake County USA 2024. Erika was the first ever person over 40 to ever hold the title of Miss Wake County USA
