ASSFACE Diet press release

Updated: Oct 16, 2024

What is the ASSFACE diet?

Erika Rawes, a former technology writer, has left the written media industry to become a fitness coach. She has earned certifications in personal training, nutrition, and fitness coaching from ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association), and she has a brand new YouTube channel, TikTok, and business venture called Fitness Over 40 with Erika Marie that provides health and wellness tips to middle-aged people.

Rawes has come up with a new diet plan called the ASSFACE diet (Rawes has filed for a trademark which is pending). Although the acronym, ASSFACE, sounds silly and comical, the diet really works. It reminds users to stay away from added sugars and weight-adding carbs like bread and potatoes in favor of better and healthier carbs —fruits and veggies.

ASSFACE is an acronym that stands for the following:

Added

Sugar

Sucks

Fruits and veggies

Also contain

Carbs

Eat those!

Using ASSFACE as a reminder, people can remember to keep their added sugars, simple carbs, and carbs that add excess weight to a minimum. Added sugars are also known to cause depressive symptoms and mood fluctuations in many populations meaning the ASSFACE diet is often a better mental health option for most participants.

If you make fruits and veggies a primary carbohydrate source in the diet, eliminate added sugars, and reduce other carbs like breads and potatoes, this will likely lead to weight loss, healthier weight management, and a better sense of well-being.

Erika herself lost 93 pounds on the ASSFACE diet (update: now 108 pounds), and she has seen success with it in others as well. People on the diet feel energized, and they tend to lose that stored weight around the midsection area—that’s where most middle-aged people keep their weight.
